Pre-Clinical Programs

Pre-Clinical Programs

JABSOM students are given the opportunity to electively live on several neighbor islands during the pre-clinical (first and second) years of medical school.  Problem-Based Learning (PBL) group tutorials are facilitated in-person by local JABSOM faculty and large group lectures are remotely live-streamed.  Students also gain early clinical experience by working with local physicians, and participate in community health and service events.
