Community Service is an important part of the mission of Office of Medical Education. Below are selected service activities provided to our communities with the goal of attaining lasting health for all in Hawaiʻi.

HAWAII HOME PROJECT
Hawaii HOME Project
The mission of the Hawaii H.O.M.E. Project is to improve quality and access to health care for individuals in Hawaii experiencing houselessness, while increasing student and physician awareness and understanding of the houseless and their healthcare needs.
MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT
Medical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT)
This week-long summer program for current 10th-12th graders provides an engaging, hands-on learning opportunity for students interested in health professions. 
HPEC
Health Professions Education Conference
HPEC is an annual, intramural conference provided by the UH JABSOM Office of Medical Education to celebrate the wide array of innovations and initiatives in medical education occurring across the spectrum of undergraduate and graduate health professions education.
